​You call your salon a high texture salon.  What does that mean?

High Texture or Hi Texture addresses a spectrum of hair types.  Whether you are natural, curl, kinky, wavy, straight or anything in between, WE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR YOU.


What services do you offer?

We offer an array of services for our highly textured beauties. Finger styling, Twist Outs, Braid Outs, curly cuts, coloring… and the list goes on.  We do more than straighten natural hair, we embrace it.   Please see our MENU for a comprehensive list of services and pricing. 


Where are you located?

We are conveniently located off of I-85 in Lawrenceville across from Sugarloaf Mills.  Our address  is  1860 Atkinson Road, Suite 111, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043


What are your hours of operation?

Tuesday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (We take the last appointment at 5:30 PM)
Friday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (On Saturday, we take the last appointment at 3:00 PM)
Monday and Sunday are by appointment only.  A $25 non-refundable deposit is required on these days.  ***EFFECTIVE September 1, 2013, we will no longer accept Sunday or Monday appointments until further notice.  Thank you in advance for your understanding. 

 

​What forms of payment do you accept?

We take cash, debit cards, and most credit cards.  *Please note that effective June 1, 2013 we are unable to accept credit card payments for stylist tips.  Please bring cash for tipping.  We apologize any inconvenience. 

 

How do I book an appointment?

For your convenience, there are two ways to make an appointment. You can click on the APPOINTMENTS tab and complete the appointment form.  Or you may contact the salon directly at (770) 237-0037 to schedule.

What if I can't make it to my appointment?​

As a courtesy to your stylist and other clients, we ask for a minimum 24 hour notice.   This allows your stylist adjust his/her schedule and fill your space.  If you are running  more than 15 minutes late, please contact the salon as soon as you can.   We will do all that we can do to accommodate or reschedule your appointment.

 

Can I bring my child to my appointment? 

For everyone's safety, we kindly request that our guests make childcare arrangement for all children.  Your child may visit our salon only if they have an appointment.

 

 Do you offer consultations?

Yes, we offer comprehensive consultations for free with any service.  Without service, consultations are $25. 

 

What does a consultation include?

Our consultations are comprehensive, so we take the time to cleanse and condition the hair.  This gives us the opportunity to examine your scalp, hair,  its condition,  and curl pattern.  We also make a final recommendation for styling options and products.

 

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my appointment?

Yes! Please remove any twists, coils, braids and weaves prior to your appointment. If you are scheduling for a curly cut or any chemical processes,   our specialist need to see your hair in its natural state. Do not shampoo your hair the day of your appointment, and if you can avoid shampooing for a few days prior to your appointment, even better!  Do what you normally do for 2nd day hair….. style your hair as usual and do not pull your hair back.  ​

 

​What products do you use in your salon?

​We use the Moroccanoil, Design Essentials, Influance Hair Care, and Salono Heat.

 

​​How can I purchase products?

Orders can be placed via phone or at our store.  We have a full service retail store in the salon.  So feel  free to stop by  and  pick up  your favorite products.  And while you're their sample a few others.

 

If I order products over the phone, how long does it take to receive the products?

Orders received by 12 noon EST, will be shipped out that same day. Orders received after 12 noon EST, will be shipped out the next business day.  We ship via USPS Ground, so you can expect your products to arrive in 3-7 business days.


What is your return policy?

Please note that all sales are final. We will accept an in-store exchange on unopened, unused, and sealed merchandise within 15 days of purchase date. There are no exceptions to this policy.

 

​PLEASE NOTE: All services are final, if are not satisfied with your hair, please let your stylist or a manager know and we will fix it to your satisfaction while you are in the salon.  Please note that will not redo hair once you have left the salon.
